Fun Diving
We run two exclusive dive trips daily: one in the morning and another in the afternoon, each comprising two unique dives.
Our morning dives transport you to deeper sites like Chumphon Pinnacle and Southwest Pinnacle, open water divers are welcome on these trips and advanced certifications can safely explore down to 30 meters deep. These sites are havens for schooling fish and offer tantalizing, albeit rare, opportunities to encounter whale sharks – a thrilling prospect with Koh Tao's notable sighting records.
Safety is our priority, and with a maximum group size of four divers per dive leader, we ensure personalized attention and care. Our professional team of full-time divemasters are passionate about sharing the wonders of diving, making each trip not just safe but immensely fun.
Our afternoon dives are all about basking in the sun-drenched tropical reefs and shallower dive sites. Suitable for all levels, we choose afternoon sites that allow for long dives. It's a relaxing yet vibrant way to experience Koh Tao's stunning marine life and enjoy breathtaking views of the island from the sea.
At Roctopus Dive, we're committed to providing a top-notch diving experience, blending adventure, safety, and professional guidance, perfect for divers at every level.

While scuba diving around Koh Tao is generally safe, as with any marine environment, there are certain marine creatures that have the potential to be hazardous. It's essential to be aware of these species and take appropriate precautions. Some examples include:
Sea Urchins: These spiky creatures are common on rocky surfaces. Accidentally stepping on a sea urchin can result in painful stings. It's advisable to watch your step, wear sturdy dive boots, and be cautious when navigating rocky areas.
Scorpionfish and Stonefish: These camouflaged fish can deliver venomous spines if stepped on or touched. Careful finning techniques and avoiding contact with the seabed can reduce the risk of encountering these creatures.
